Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure game. You explore an abandoned coastal lighthouse, solving environmental puzzles and piecing together what happened to the people who lived there. The hand-drawn art is beautiful and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting.

Puzzles are logical rather than obtuse — you rarely need a guide, because the clues are hidden in the environment if you look. The game trusts you to notice things, which is refreshing.

It's a short experience, maybe four hours, but it lingers. If you like calm, story-driven exploration without combat, this is an easy recommendation.
